About
WFBB

Whitefish Baseball is an all-volunteer, community-run league where kids in the Flathead learn the game, from the first tee-ball swing to the ninety-foot diamond. Parents coach, families run the concession stand, and every dollar goes back into the fields, the gear, and the kids.

When does the season start?

The season opens in April with Opening Day at Smith Fields and wraps up the first week of June. Practice schedules are set after tryouts and roster announcements.

How do I register my player?

Registration opens at the beginning of each calendar year. Sign up online through the league portal before the April 1 deadline. Late registration is subject to roster availability.

What divisions are available?

We offer five divisions: T-Ball (ages 5–6), Rookies (7–8), Minors (9–10), Majors (11–12), and Babe Ruth (13–15). Players are placed by age and skill level.

All home games are played at Smith Fields in Whitefish, Montana. Babe Ruth teams may travel for tournament play throughout the Flathead Valley and region.

What equipment does my player need?

The league provides jerseys, hats, helmets, and catcher's gear. Players need their own glove, bat (appropriately sized for age), and cleats.
